Quota Information

As a student at The University of Melbourne, you have an automatically enforced quota on your email account. This quota applies whether you are accessing the account via POP3, IMAP or webmail. All students have the same quota of 40MB.

A warning message will be automatically sent when you reach 90% of your quota. If you reach 100% then you will be sent another message and no new mail will be delivered until you reduce your account usage.

You can check your quota usage at any time by logging in to webmail and checking the quota information on the top left hand side of the screen.

If you are over quota, you can delete messages using the webmail interface.
