IPAM project

Currently the University's DNS and DHCP systems are managed by IPReg, an in house developed IP Address Management (IPAM) tool. While IPReg has served the University well for many years, it is lacking functionality in several key areas and will not scale to meet the growing complexity of the University's network.

The IPAM project aims to provide an enterprise solution to IP address management at the University. The project will gather requirements from end users and the Networks Group within Information Services. These requirements will be used to recommend an appropriate solution for the University.
