Overview

The University’s Active Directory infrastructure has become heavily replied upon
by many systems from within Information Services (IS) as well as University
faculties, departments and affiliates. The need to provide a secure, highly available
and well managed AD service is vital for the successful functioning of many of the
University’s core IT systems. A fundamental aspect of achieving this goal is to define
a set of roles that functionally separate the needs of the various administrators of the
University’s AD.
