INFORMATION

Microsoft has released a Security Advisory describing a vulnerability
in Microsoft DirectX. Accessing a specially crafted QuickTime media
file on a vulnerable computer system could result in remote code
execution.

There is no known official fix for this vulnerability at present.

Microsoft advises that the following versions of operating systems
are affected:
- Windows 2000 SP4
- Windows XP
- Windows Server 2003

Microsoft advises that the following versions of operating systems
are NOT affected:
- Windows Vista
- Windows Server 2008
