Port Blocks on Border Routers

INFORMATION
===========
Ports 135, 139 and 445 have been blocked at the border routers of the
University network for a number of months.

In order to enhance measures for the containment of the outbreak of the
MS-Blaster worm and other similar exploits, a decision has been made
to increase the number of ports that are blocked on the border routers.
Here is the re-stated list:

UDP, inbound and outbound: 69

TCP, inbound and outbound: 135

TCP and UDP, inbound and outbound: 137, 138, 139, 445, 593

TCP, inbound and outbound: 4444
(except some hosts already exempted for outbound traffic)
