Microsoft Security Summit - Feb 2005 ========================== Microsoft has organised a Security Summit in Melbourne on 22 Feb 2005 with three main tracks: - Processes and Technology for a Secure Infrastructure - Operational Efficiency and Productivity - Team Development and Productivity More information, links to the agenda and registration forms are available at: http://www.microsoft.com/australia/security/summit/ IT security during the holidays ====================== Shutting down computers over the holidays is good for the environment and also enhances security, as shut down computers won't be exposed to new forms of computer viruses and worms that may emerge during the end of year break. Remember to maintain physical security for both data and computing devices by keeping portable computing equipment and media in locked and secure storage.
