IT User Services provides advice on options for purchasing, desktop support and lifecycle management of hardware.

Desktop Life Cycle Management

For University faculties and departments, advice on availability of products, details of endorsed models and pricing information will be available from approved external suppliers.

Information Services provides Standard Operating Environments (SOE) for desktop hardware and software.

Desktop Support provide the following services, Hardware or Software installation, configuration and consultation for Desktops that are used within Information Services and their clients.

IT Documentation provides guidance on how to access IT Services for example, how to configure Wireless, Dial-In or Virus Protection, etc. for use within the University IT Environment.

Disposing of unwanted IT assets can be a time consuming process for University departments. IT User Services and University’s Green Office provide two types of services in this area:
