IT User Services provide following Research Facilities:

• High Performance Computing

The Research Computing Services section is tasked with supporting those ICT requirements of researchers across the University which are beyond what is expected to be provided by their faculty.

• AccessGrid
  
  The Research Computing Services section currently hosts the primary AccessGrid Node for the University, as well as providing ancillary support for AccessGrid related activities.  The facility is open to all University of Melbourne staff and post-graduate students, as well as external parties involved in collaborative projects with the University.

• Visualization

The Research Computing Service section provide the Computer Visualization Facility where is located at 723 Swanston Street, Parkville.

The facility is open to all University of Melbourne staff and post-graduate students, as well as external parties involved in collaborative projects with the University.

• Statistical Software

Statistical Software package purchase or support is available for following software:

• Minitab
