Telephony Services
The University phone infrastructure and staff communications environment is going through a complete overhaul. Over the next three years the Unified Communications Program aims to consolidate the University’s telecommunication services. The first of these changes the University will experience is a new, single telephony carrier and an expanded mobility service. The following pages detail telephony services available through Information Services:
- PABX phones - These pages will assist with information such as instruction sheets, conference phone rental, desk phone moves, adds, and changes, and related FAQs.
- New IP Phone and Voicemail Service - Users who have been transitioned onto the new IP Phone and Voicemail service can find information on these pages about phone and voicemial functions, user guides, interactive tutorials, and related FAQs.
- Superseded Mobility Service - University supported mobile accounts created prior to July 21st, 2008 including current Telstra account holders.
- Mobility Service - New mobility users, or mobility users who have been transitioned to Optus through the Mobility Project.
