How To Use An IQTEL E3 Telephone
*Special NOTE: The top 5 buttons are two touch buttons. To access the top function, press the button once. To access the bottom function (usually "cancel") press the button twice in quick succession - like double clicking a mouse.
Transfer
- Tell them to hold: PBX RECALL: dial other ext : hear answer: hang up
- Hear busy tone: press Call Back: replace handset: wait...
- (to cancel this, lift handset and press Call Back twice)
- Hear other phone ring: lift handset: press Pick Up: speak (must be in the same group)
- Hear other phone ring: lift handset: press Direct twice: Dial ringing extn: speak
- PBX RECALL: dial other ext. : talk: ask other to hang up: continue
3-way conference
- talk to 1st ext. : PBX RECALL: dial other ext: hear answer on 2nd ext.:
PBX RECALL: have 3-way conference... - NOTE: 2 internal and 1 external.
- talk : PBX RECALL: hear tone: dial 10: dial 2nd ext.: talk
- PBX RECALL: etc to alternate...
Divert all calls to another extension
- Lift handset/press Handsfree: press Forward All: dial other extension: hang up
- Lift handset/press Handsfree: press Forward All twice: hang up
- Lift handset: press Forward Busy: dial other extension: hang up. (Press Forward Busy twice to cancel)
- Lift handset: press Forward No Answer: dial other extension: hang up. (Press Forward No Answer twice to cancel)
Store a number in memory
- STORE : (Optional press HANDSFREE to insert H) : Dial number: Press memory key
- Press memory key : if H precedes number on display, when call is answered handsfree operation will be on.
- If H does not precede number on display, press HANDSFREE or raise handset to begin dialling.
- Lift handset: Press REDIAL .
- Press STORE ; Press free memory key..
