Systems Section, Systems & IT Infrastructure, Information Division

The Systems Section provides University-wide network-delivered IT services involving both internal development of software and evaluation/integration of commercial and open source products.

It maintains server-class hardware and operating system platforms for these and other centrally provided services.

It provides core networked services infrastructure to allow the University to easily develop and deploy network-delivered applications within a common framework.

It maintains expertise in server platform and network-delivered services architecture, performance and security and provides advice to University projects in these areas.
