Requesting a Learning Environments service – FAQs
How do I place a request for services provided by Learning Environments (LE)?
Various online booking forms are available for staff to request services provided by LE. The following booking forms are available on the Learning & teaching support for staff web site.
LE online request forms
Lectopia booking form
Requests must be submitted 5 business days prior to the scheduled lecture or event.
This service is available for recording scheduled lectures/classes during semesters and winter and summer intensives; and, for recording university events such as public lectures, seminar and symposia proceedings, and special presentations.
TV & radio off-air recording request form
Requests must be submitted 48hrs prior to scheduled broadcasting time.
Digital Media Services (DMS) provides a free television and radio recording service for the University. We can legally record from the free-to-air television channels (ABC, SBS, 7, 9 and 10), most Foxtel channels and AM and FM radio. Recordings are added to the Media Collection (ERC Library) or other university libraries or streamed for access via the web. Academic staff can link to these online resources from their learning materials and subject pages or reserve lists. Staff can subscribe to a weekly alerting service and receive information on recent and scheduled recordings.
Keepad booking
Bookings to be submitted 10 business days prior to scheduled classes to confirm availability.
Keepad is an interactive learning technology that allows you to create high quality multi-media presentations, transforming your PowerPoint presentation into a conversation with your students. Research has suggested that using this interactive technology can increase retention and add some excitement and enthusiasm to traditional education and training methods.
Access Grid booking
We recommend your booking is placed in advance to confirm availability.
