Video conference options
Video conference sessions can be:
- Two-way discussions with colleagues/associates at other campuses/affiliates (option 1).
- Timetabled teaching activities involving University of Melbourne students (option 2 or 3 depending on class size).
- Collaborative research activities involving other institutions (option 1, 2 or 3 depending on number of participants).
- University general meetings (option 2 or 3 depending on number of participants).
- University interviews (option 1 or 2 depending on number of participants).
- Bridging & multi-point conferencing (option 3 - Sunderland theatre only).
Choose the video conference option that best suits you:
Option 1: Job interview (IP only)
An individual at the University of Melbourne interviewed by a panel at a remote site.
Option 2: Panel interview or collaborative meeting (IP & ISDN)
A panel of up to 26 participants at the University of Melbourne interacting with participants at remote sites.
Examples:
- Interview panel meeting and interviewing individuals.
- Small group teaching.
Option 3: Teaching (IP & ISDN)
Video conference from shared learning space at the University of Melbourne.
Example: Teaching by video conference with large audiences on campus.
