Scholarly collections
The Eastern Resource Centre (previously called the ERC Library) contains significant collections spread across multiple floors:
- Reference Collection targeted to meet study and research needs in Engineering and Education, on level three
- High demand items used by students in Education and Engineering (this includes reserve and short-term loan items)
- Open-access collections, relevant to study and research in the Education & Engineering faculties, on levels four and five
- Multi-disciplinary Media Collection (this includes lots of DVDs), on level four
- Open-access and multi-disciplinary Research Collection, on levels one and two
- Map Collection and facilities (this includes access to ABS and other GIS resources), on level two.
All students using the planned Eastern Resource Centre have access to computing resources enabling you to discover an amazing diversity of information online:
- Journal and newspaper articles
- eBooks
- Encyclopedias and reference sources
- Conference papers
- Standards
- Statistics
- Industry information.
Students from across the University are welcome in these new facilities.
