The University of Melbourne on iTunes U
You need iTunes installed on your computer to access The University of Melbourne on iTunes U - download iTunes.
The University of Melbourne is one of the first of seven Australian Universities to release a public channel on Apple’s iTunes U - providing free access to content approved by academics and visiting experts, including guest speeches, public lectures, dean’s lectures and university events, and the University’s own regular audio series, ‘UpClose’ to a world-wide audience. This material can be downloaded to mobile devices for easy and convenient access at any time, or viewed online directly from the iTunes U site.
Currently, only publicly available material will be distributed from the iTunes U site, and Learning Environments will be developing a secure, password protected area for courseware materials for students, for release in 2009.
Direct all enquiries about providing material for the iTunes U site to Deborah Jones (djones@unimelb.edu.au), Learning Environments.
All presenters being recorded at the University for public broadcast must sign a copy of the audio-video consent form [PDF 32kb 1 page].
